Meningitis Now are offering information and support via a nurse-led helpline who can answer questions about meningitis and provide information on the support they offer.

Dear Parents/Carers,
As you will know from the media, the National Education Union, has announced the intention to plan further industrial action in schools on Wednesday 5th July and Friday 7th July. I am writing to inform you of provisional plans the school is making should the action go ahead.

On Friday 18th November, our wonderful senior prefects hosted a bake cable at lunch time to raise money for Children in Need.
Overall, the pupils raised over £200 and the bake sale was a huge success.
Thank you to everyone who donated baked goods or made a purchase and well done to our wonderful prefects for hosting an amazing charitable event.
On Monday 17th October, pupils from Years 8, 9 and 10 attended the Green Climate Summit at The Lowry theatre, where they had the opportunity to hear from influential speakers and participate in a number of engaging workshops on various issues, including slow fashion, 3D printing using waste and Green Hydrogen.
The pupils were also lucky enough to discuss their thoughts on climate change with the Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham.
