Monday 2nd - Friday 6th March is National Careers Week, and we introduced the students to a variety of different career prospects and opportunities, through inviting special guests into school, and also taking students on trips to enhance their knowledge of different careers, which they may wish to pursue once they have left Reddish Vale.
On Tuesday 3th March, we invited McCrory Brickworks into school, to deliver a talk to a selection of our students about apprenticeships.The students were able to gain an insight into bricklaying career opportunities, how to apply for apprenticeships, and skills they can develop through undertaking this role.
The students were thoroughly engaged and asked the company many questions about the profession, gaining further insight into what the role has to offer.
